to fix the lol account checker folder and open the settings.json in notepad then replace the text with this

 

{
  "ShowPasswords": true,
  "SelectedRegion": 0,
  "ClientVersion": "6.7.16_04_13_12_18"
}
 
then save it and start the application and refuse the updates everytime
