Well, Considering Norton, AVG Etc all don't even make the top 10 of the global list, i will share what did.

Kaspersky actually came 2nd place in 2014. First place and still first place is:

Vipre:

It came 1st because the program itself is SO lightweight it never causes ANY lag. Even during scans. Not to mention when they say deep scans they mean it. They scan parts on the HDD i never new existed...

Lastly, Vipre doesn't do that stupid "Moved to vault" BS. When Vipre finds a virus, it somehow logs it in bootmgr so before windows even boots up (Blinking black cursor screen)  it will say "Removing path/to/virus" and will force remove the virus with the associated downloaded/acquainted files while keeping windows safe and not breaking the OS.

So even for me Vipre is #1. It has always been, (not true), and i think always will be. They even give you a 1 month trial of all the features. When the trial expires you get the occasional message (Not spamming, but literally maybe once per boot up) but they keep all the features unlocked. You simply just don't get updates. So yeah, let me know how it goes. Good luck!
