Im using a GTX 670, i5-4570 and 8GB RAM. Without BOL / EB / w/e i'm having like 200 FPS @ High settings. Using those programs im hanging @ like 40-60.

If i'd get another 8gb RAM will that keep my FPS up?

Yes.

Though RAM will be more required if you use example Editing programs and such.

But i do recommend increasing your RAM.

You can use more processes w/o lagging.

i recommend first getting good Specs like HDD and Graphic card, then increase your RAM.

but yes, it does increase your gaming experience.

GTA V takes around 70% of my RAM and i have 16GB.

So, it's ALOT

Upgrade your graphics card, the cpu and ram is fine for now but that's an outdated card.

Yes they are right first go straight to a graphics card then go for an SSD, then the RAM, I have a gtx 980TI OC G1 from gigabyte  plus 24 GB of RAM and I get no drops what so ever, usually I get 500+frames per second and some times comes down to 300 or 280 but that's not relevant and you will not feel a thing during gameplay or you can go for another GTX 670 and you just SLI them... its the most cost effective way... if you want something new and dont want to spend alot go for the GTX970 its about 370€, mine costed 910€ at release date, then you can buy another GTX970 and just SLI it = problem solved for maybe 3/4 years. And If you are looking for a new gaming Rig just tell me I can help you, tell me the price and I will provide you with a cost/effective setup.

I hope I was helpfull XD

Ram will NOT increase your FPS. Firstly, open task manager (CTRL + SHIFT + ESC) and look what is bottlenecking. Dont buy more ram, if you have <90-95% ram usage.

Reason for low FPS may be CPU or GPU.

Download GPU-Z, go to sensors tab select your gpu and watch GPU usage while playing without BOL etc.. then do same thing, but with those programms.

So do folowing things with and without BOL etc.:

1. check RAM usage

2. check CPU usage

3. check GPU usage

Post your result.

Because ram doesn't "build" video (what you see on the screen). Thats what gpu is for. You Need ram to "hold" data/programms running.
