DDOS attacks are attacks that bring down my network.
I installed one program called hotspot shield to disguise my ip. So attackers can not take down your ip.

with a dynamic ip you could just restart you router and everything should be fine.
only problem with that is when you have a domain.. I think pfsense with snort has a few anti ddos features.. so it would just take the hits instead
You might wanna consider asking if your ISP can filter the traffic for you.
Are sure it's not a trojan? Would be new if someone gets DDOS out of nowhere.

Ask your internet consultant or something just phone to them
Turn off internet. Boom no more DDoS
